The Farmgate Connect team have a combined 90 years of experience in the wholesale & import produce market. We know the market inside out, so we don’t need to play it. Our aims are simple, we provide our customers with high quality produce at competitive prices and we are building a successful business around this aim.

Our customers are our number one focus and being responsive to our customers’ needs is a point of pride for FarmGate. We are always only a phone call away and we demand the best from our suppliers for the benefit our customers.

We are able to provide the freshest produce because it is our policy not to hold stock. We are honest about our stock and flexible with our pricing to meet the market.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

CARLO CUSUMANO

Carlo was a Fresh Produce retailer for thirty years. Then came the need to try something different and joined a Wholesale agent at Sydney Markets where he stayed on for three years. It was a successful transition because there was an understanding of the needs of the retailers he was supplying. The knowledge of a retail and then wholesale career has helped in the current role as an importer and distributor. The rules are the same, give the customer what the customer wants and everyone is happy.

IGOR PETROV

Igor came from a retail background as a manager of a Franklins Supermarket store. The retail experience and attitude carried through to the current role. He joined an import company fifteen years ago and has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the importation of fruits and vegetables.

Several years ago Igor branched out on his own to investigate unfulfilled segments of the import industry and together with Carlo they formed FarmGate Connect.
